SFCC WORLD DRUMMING CLASS - African/Afro-Cuban/Brazilian Units
This unique performance course welcomes SFCC students, faculty, staff and the general
public
(of all experience levels) an opportunity to explore musical cultures
outside the borders of North America through the heritage of global drumming
ensembles.  African, Cuban, and Brazilian drumming units are currently
offered with projections to expand to Polynesian, Middle Eastern, Indian and
SE Asian units as instruments and guest artist clinicians become available.  
Members of this ensemble are not required to read music nor have any
previous drumming abilities, although those backgrounds could be helpful.  A
15 to 25 minute public program is presented every quarter & instruments are
