If you play an instrument, write “SFS jam session” on
your calendar for the second Sunday of each month! The jams include a potluck
dinner and are open to any interested
musician. We plan to continue offering the monthly jam
sessions as long as people are attending them and we can find persons willing

Jam in Moscow (first and third Saturdays)
There will be jam sessions at Thorn creek Grille and
Gifts (520 S. Main, Moscow, ID) from noon to 2:00 p.m., and at Bookpeople
from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Bluegrass, oldtime, Irish, Klezmer and other
types of folk music are encouraged. |
6-8:30 pm O'Doherty's Irish Session
performs traditional Irish dance music and tunes on a variety of
instruments. O’Doherty’s in downtown Spokane, by the carousel, has
hosted traditional Irish folk music sessions for over two decades. The
session on Sunday nights at six o’clock is free and open to everyone of
all ages and backgrounds. The musicians here are regular attendees and
play a variety of instruments, including fiddle, flute, penny whistle,
