The Bulgarian community in Spokane is very small but they try to keep their traditions and customs alive. Bulgarian dances are very unique and are usually performed in a circle which represents the unity of the dancers. Through their dances, they bring the spirit of Bulgaria to different places of the world. They hope you enjoy their performance and experience a glimpse of their small, but tradition-rich country of Bulgaria.
Previously, the group has taken part in Open Arms Cultural Elegance: A Fashion Show at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino, and performed at the annual Spokane Fall Folk Festival, the 30th Anniversary of the ESL Conference at Mukogawa Institute in Spokane and the International Cultural Exchange at the Coeur d’Alene Casino.

The Lake City Highland Dancers perform traditional Scottish Highland dances. Perhaps nothing captures the spirit of Scottish culture better than the sight of Highland dancing performed at a Scottish gathering accompanied by a bagpiper. These sophisticated dances are performed across the world and competitions are regularly organized in Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and the United States.  Dancers today typically dance to traditional Scottish music such as strathspeys, reels, hornpipes and jigs played on a bagpipe.
