Dance Instruction

As a public service to those seeking dance instruction in the Inland Northwest, the Spokane Folklore Society maintains a Performers Referral List.

An Misneach Sinnach translated from Irish, means "The Courage of a Dancing
Fox." MSD Irish Dance Academy trains competitive and non-competitive Irish
Dance in Spokane, WA. We are committed to communicating and manifesting our
vision. We partner with our community to nurture dancers, not simply offer
dance classes. We enhance physical development, create emotional balance
and stability, and inspire self-expression. Our attitude is serious in our
play, which is embodied in the fox or in Irish the "sionnach." Sharing
Irish dance with beginners, advanced athletes, and adults.

Baharat Dance Company offers beginning and continuing classes in the
authentic dances of the Middle East and North Africa, including belly
dance, traditional folk styles from various regions and theatrical works.
Baharat is quality education spiced with the flavors of the Middle East. We
are based in Spokane Washington. Our instructors have taught and
performed throughout the United States and in Canada. We teach
internationally through Zoom and video classes.

MALIDOMA! Dance Studio
Classes in American Tribal Style Bellydance; Wednesdays 6-7pm for beginners. A modern interpretation of an ancient dance form.
