The Spokane Folklore Society 14th annual Fall Folk Festival

will take place Saturday, Oct.31  and Sunday, November 1 2009

at Spokane Community College (The Lair), N. 1810 N. Greene Street in Spokane, Washington.

Directions and maps can be viewed at www.scc.spokane.edu/maps/
But please note these construction issues:

For those who are coming to the Festival at Spokane Community College – be advised that the directions provided to you on our website only work when all of the bridges on Freya from I-90 to the Community College are in place – which they are not.

Because the portion of Freya over the BNSF rail yard is out due to construction – those of you who would normally take the freeway to get to the Community College are advised to re-evaluate your route.

The following detours are recommended:

If coming from the west on I-90 – take the Hamilton Street exit on the east side of downtown.  Then go to the first intersection and make a right on Trent.  Then make a left on Freya.

If coming from the east on I-90 – take the Sprague exit.  However, at the light, go straight (north on Fancher).  Make a left on Trent.  Merge to the right at Mission.   Spokane Community College will be on your right.  If you get to Greene, make a right into the college.

The Fall Folk Festival presents the diversity of our community through traditional music, dance and the arts. Ninety performing groups perform on eight stages. The festival is Free thanks to the generous support of many community business and individual donors.
